93 point - Vinous: "The 2018 Riesling Niederhäuser Hermannsberg Grosses Gewächs was also released as a two-year-old wine in 2020, but this portion is now released after five years - essentially the same wine released with more bottle age. As of 2019, all wine was held back for five years. Two thousand eighteen was a hot year with a dry autumn but a wet spring. The nose has an immediate lift, a vestige of petrol, and the vivid lift of dried lemon, edged with fresh, white grapefruit. The palate has a lovely ripeness and generosity. There's something incredibly stony, radiating sunshine and warmth with immense concentration. Yet the acidity is clear-cut, racy, stony and salty. The savory depth is only about to show and evolve. There are miles and miles to go."
