Fascinating savory and meaty character on the mid-palate, then no less fascinating coconut and vanilla aromas on the very long, expansive finish."

96 point - WineSpectator: "A dark, ripe and extracted style, with thick layers of plum reduction, raspberry paste and boysenberry preserve that are compacted with black licorice and fruitcake notes. The subtle alder spine pierces through the finish, adding a nice contrast. This is really bundled up though, so patience is required. Grenache and Syrah. Best from 2025 through 2040."
