En klassisk 1er Cru fra Aloxe-Corton beliggende umiddelbart nedenfor Grand Cru-marken Corton. I glasset viser den mørke kirsebær, skovbund, lakrids og krydderier. Strukturen er tæt med markerede, men velintegrerede tanniner og en jordbunden, mineralsk afslutning. En vin med rygrad og klassisk Bourgogne-karakter, der egner sig godt til 8-15 års lagring.
94 point & ★★★★(4 ud af 5) - James Suckling: "Very distinctive nose of smoke and black tea with a touch of animal character. Very structured and tannic on the compact, medium- to full-bodied palate. Bright acidity, too, and this combination of elements means that it needs some time to reach its best harmony. The long finish suggests this is really worth the wait. Drinkable now, but best from 2027.
