1er Cru marken Le Bois Roussot er syd-sydøst vendt og grænser op til Grand Cru markerne Corton og Corton-Charlemagne. Vinen har en dyb rubinrød farve og klassisk næse med duft af friske bær (solbær & hindbær).
I smagen er den robust, kompleks og fyldig på samme tid, afsluttende med bemærkeseværdig raffinement og elegance.

Only medium-bodied and delicate, rather than compact or muscular, it has a fantastic silky elegance right through the super-long finish. From the Corton side of this totally underrated appellation.
