Rothenberg-marken har fået sit navn efter den rødlige, jernholdige skifer, som jorden er dækket med. Skiferen absorberer solens stråler og skaber vine med stor fedme og eksotiske frugtnuancer, samtidig med at de har et gnistrende livligt syrespil. Marken er især berømt for at lave nogle af Tysklands allerbedste ædelsøde vine.
Mættet med aromaer af røde bær, pink grapefrugt og friske urter. Flot integreret syre og en usædvanlig lang, mineralsk finish. Kun 12% alkohol. Sand kraft og koncentration.

97 point - Vinous: "The 2024 Riesling Nackenheimer Rothenberg Grosses Gewächs has the loveliest impression of flint on the nose. The palate is a wave of delicious juiciness that washes right over you, drenching you in red apple-tinged, luminous freshness, ripe tangerine and peppery herbs. This has impact, power, energy and animation. What a wonderfully dynamic wine. This has such articulation, fruit and wonderful spiciness. The finish is pure saltiness and pith. The 2024 is gorgeous. 92 point - Mosel Fine Wine:" The 2024 Rothenberg Nackenheim GG, as it is referred to on the consumer label, offers a refined, floral nose, which quickly delivers aromatic scents of smoke, thyme, red apple, grapefruit zest, rasberry, plum, and toast. The wines proves comparatively light-weighted and nicely juicy on the palate and leaves a refined smoky side in the nicely long finish. This lighter version of Rothenberg is very enjoyable and refined."
