97 point - Jeb Dunnuck: "Another thrilling wine, the 2019 Châteauneuf Du Pape Cuvée Cornelia Constanza has overflowing amounts of black raspberry and framboise-like fruits as well as flowers, spicy garrigue, and herbes de Provence aromatics. All Grenache, it’s medium to full-bodied and has silky tannins, a round, layered texture, and a heavenly finish. It reminds me slightly of the 2007 with its exuberant, sexy style. It too will shine for 15 years."

94 point - James Suckling: "A very reserved Chateauneuf, in spite of, or maybe because of the impressive concentration. Put this in a big glass and a lot of plum, spice and smoke aromas emerge. Lots of bitter chocolate and some caramel on the high-structured palate. Long, very focused finish with cocoa powder and mineral notes. This was matured 35% in concrete and 65% in barrique casks for 18 months."

Druerne til Cornelia Constanza stammer fra mere end 80 år gamle vinstokke dyrket på sandholdig jord på La Crau vinmarken lidt nord for domænet. Her får du en veloplagt og usædvanlig saftspændt Châteauneuf du Pape, som demonstrerer det ypperste, Grenache Noir-druen kan præstere af renhed, finesse og forfinede aromaer. Her er lag på lag af kirsebær, jordbær og stikkelsbær i smuk forening med cacao, kanel, kardemomme og peber. Finishen er fyldig med en silkeagtig tekstur og modne tanniner. Grenache når det er allerbedst!
