93 point - James Halliday: "Shiraz sourced from 35-to 120-year old vines in the Ebenezer subregion; matured for 16 months in a mix of 405 new oak and 605 second and third-use hogsheads, mostly French. Purple red in the glass with notes of macerated blackberry and plum fruits, crème de cassis, baking spices, dark chocolate, blackberry cream, earth and violets. Ripe and plush with melt-in-the-mouth tannins, this is very much the quintessential northern Barossa shiraz and a very sharp price." 

93 point - James Suckling: "This is beautifully curated, in a big and rich style. It’s full-bodied with round and creamy tannins that caress your palate. Lots of flavor and a creamy texture. It’s a bit of a throwback, but it’s hard to resist. Drink or hold."

The wine in the glass is the very essence of Barossa, with red, earthy tannins, spicy/toasty oak and a fruit profile that spans red, purple and black. Really well done. Delicious. Bishop fremstilles 100% af Shiraz fra 35 og 120 år gamle vinstokke plantet i det eksklusive Ebenezer-distrikt i Barossa Valley. Vinen er lagret 16 måneder fortrinsvis på fade af fransk eg. Duften byder på klingende rene toner af blåbær og solbær med et let strejf af mørk chokolade og vanille. Smagen er kraftfuld og meget koncentreret, og eftersmagen er meget, meget lang.
