Vinen fremstår blæksort i glasset, og byder på en koncentreret bouquet af fuldmodne solbær, mørke kirsebær og brombær, samt krydderier, lakrids og kakao. Smagen er rig med kraftige men afstemte tanniner og med en stor lang finish. ​Nyd vinen af rummelige glas 3 til 15 år fra høståret. Perfekt til vildt eller en stor simre-oksekødsret.

91 point, Wine Spectator: “Solidly built, with crunchy acidity carrying the core of raspberry, plum and bitter cherry fruit flavors, while a bright chalky note stretches through the finish. A whiff of tobacco leaf in the background adds range. Best from 2017 through 2023. 1.350 cases made.”

90 point, Vinous.com: "Vivid purple. Candied cherry, cassis and olive paste on the highly perfumed nose. Lush, round and sweet, offering juicy, pepper-laced dark berry and bitter cherry flavors that tighten up slowly on the back half. A smoky note comes up on the finish, which is firmed by smooth, nicely integrated tannins."
