Vininformation
94 point - James Suckling: "A well-composed, precise, lively and textured blend of 70% syrah, 15% mourvedre and 15% grenache. It shows aromas of dark cherries, strawberries, roasted meat and roasted black pepper, together with some lavender and dried oregano. Medium- to full-bodied with fine tannins. It’s juicy and well-driven with purity of fruit at the succulent and vibrant center-palate. Tactile and agile with a long, flavorful and peppery finish. From organically grown grapes. Drink or hold."
92 point - Jeb Dunnuck: "Aged 12 months in oak barrels, resulting in a quite woody and intense interpretation, the 2021 Côtes Du Roussillon Villages Les Orris still keeps its balance, with silky tannins and good freshness. A blend of 65% Syrah, 20% Mourvèdre, and 15% Grenache Noir, it offers notes of menthol, blood orange zest, white pepper, vanilla, sweet spices, and wild berries. It’s juicy and very expressive within a quite demonstrative, a bit old-fashioned, but lovely kind of style. Drink 2025-2035."
