Her er en vin, der vil frem! Monte Nero, vinen fra det sorte bjerg, er sammensat af 70% Grenache Noir, 15% Syrah og 15% Mourvèdre. Vinen er fadlagret 12 måneder på små barriques. I duften byder vinen på den klassiske solmodne Roussillon-næse af bærfrugt og noter af kandiseret frugt, krydderurter og mineraler. Smagen er koncentreret og mættet med intens frugt, som afbalanceres af en flot struktur. En bragende flot vin! Nydes af rummelige glas i op til 10-15 år fra høståret, gerne som ledsager til simremad med oksekød, lam eller godt vildt.

94 point - James Suckling: "This is an intense, precise, bright and textural blend of 50% grenache, 40% mourvedre and 10% syrah. On the nose it shows aromas of dark cherries, dried thyme, cured meat and black pepper. It’s full-bodied with fine tannins and plenty of restrained character. Balanced and lively, with a seductive texture and a silky core of berries caressing the palate. Vibrant and mouthwatering finish with excellent length. From organically grown grapes. Drink or hold."

93 point - Jeb Dunnock: "A deep ruby color, the 2022 Côtes Du Roussillon Villages Monte Nero is a blend of 50% Grenache Noir, 40% Mourvèdre, and 10% Syrah and offers loads of dark fruit. Aged 12 months in oak barrels, it remains juicy and keeps its refined saltiness, displaying nuanced notes of spices and herbs, rosemary, black and blue berries, a hint of vanilla, licorice, and sweet spices. Multilayered, with dense silky tannins and a long in the finish, it has great potential and incarnates a beautifully classic Roussillon style. Drink 2025-2035."
