95-96 point - The World of Fine Wine: "Four barrels instead of the usual eight. Rather elegantly perfumed on the nose and the palate. Refined, satin-smooth texture. Ripe fruit depths, with a vibrant line of cool freshness. It has polished minerals under the palate, which stretch the finish. It is surprisingly harmonious at this stage and has excellent persistence."

91-94 point - Burghound.com: "This is aromatically quite similar to the Perrièresif perhaps just a bit earthier.The slightly largerscaled flavors are surprisingly supple on the mid-palate that contrasts materially with the firm tannins on the compact and youthfully austere finish.This is less powerful and forbidding than normal, though with that said, it’s still sufficiently structured to reward 12 to 15 years of aging."
